Successful AGM 2013

We had a successful second AGM on Sept 5th 2013 in Highnam. Thank you to all of you that came along.

Alistair Stevens from the Severn Wye Energy Agency talked about the work of the agency, with a focus on community energy.

Next we had the business of the AGM for Gloucestershire Renewable Energy Co-operative.

Our secretary Alison Crane presented the annual report.

Richard Walter, Treasurer, presented our accounts. He also showed the output of the solar panels on the City Works roof, which have outperformed last year, and look set to be above the projected annual levels.

Kevin Frea, one of the founder members of the group, talked about the situation nationally. kevin_frea

Finally Peter Clegg, Chair finished the evening with a summary of our possible future projects.

There was also plenty of chance for networking and catching up amongst members and non-members.

Thank you for all those that were able to make it. We hope by next year we will have a second project to discuss!

If anyone has suggestions that we might be able to develop into share offers, please do let us know.
