Here are the latest statistics for the generation from our solar panels on the CityWorks building in Gloucester.
The good news is that the minor inverter issues we noticed in January have not resurfaced, although we will be watching carefully again this winter.
We are pleased that we can report that overall the production for 2015 has stayed above expectations, and we had the best June generation since the panels were installed.
Graph 1. Average daily output – with the 2015 production in orange
Graph 2. Monthly output displayed against the average of what we would expect (the green line).
Table 1. The numbers.
|Month 2015||Daily Average kWh||% of expected||Cumulative tonnes of CO2e saved||Month 2014||Daily Average kWh||% of expected||Cumulative tonnes of CO2e saved||Month 2013||Daily Average kWh||% of expected||Cumulative tonnes of CO2e saved|
Graph 4. Inverter readings. You can see the previous large problem which was caused by the squirrel damage and the unidentified problem over the 2014/2015 winter. Since February 2015 the inverters have not experienced any problems.
