What? We will be holding a public meeting and AGM on Thursday 5th September.
Where? Highnam Community Centre – Parish Rooms, Highnam Community Centre, Newent Road, Highnam ,Gloucester GL2 8DG
When? Doors will open at 7pm, and the talk will start at 7.30pm prompt. All welcome.
7.30pm – 8pm
Alastair Stevens from the Severn Wye Energy Agency will talk about the work of the agency and opportunities for working together.
The talk should be of interest to individuals and community groups alike, and for this reason it is part of the ‘Community Energy Fortnight‘
8pm – 9pm
The Gloucestershire Community Energy Co-operative AGM, which is open to everyone (but only members will be able to vote). This will consist of:
- Alison Crane (Secretary) outlining our progress over the last year
- Richard Walter (Treasurer) presenting the financial statement
- Kevin Frea talking about the broader picture for community renewable energy in 2013
- Peter Clegg (Chair) presenting where we have reached in looking for potential new projects.
